This new range of Gothic sideboards and cupboards offers a new take on Gothic style furniture. Un-mistakably Gothic in style it has a cleaner more contemporary look, although the colours & finishes and especially the decorative door panels really lift them way above the usual style. The size of these larger sideboards make them more suited to larger rooms, country house hotels, etc, looking for statement furniture. We included a large matching wall mirror, which adds even more Gothic influence. While can do most pieces in a range of woods and wood finishes, our real interest is in the new styles we're doing. There are no standard sizes we do these, as they are made bespoke; but that does give us the flexibility to design a wide range of pieces, including matching pieces such as tall cupboards, bookcases, wardrobes, etc.
These pieces can go from a plain single overall colour to quite ornate. The door panels are really what makes these pieces, with architectural Lancet shapes. Then the door panels can be further eleborated as shown by many examples below. You can combine some of these complimentary colours with room colours to co-ordinate colours if you wish. You could also have some of the door panels glazed with glass or mirrors. Or we could omit some doors and have open shelves. The plinth itself can be solid or we can add a Tudor arch to it for more Gothic emphasis. There is more than a hint of Pugin in some of these designs. We can expand on these pieces to produce a range of other matching furniture, you can see a couple of examples at the bottom of this page or on the following cabinets page. The doors are shown with simple knobs, but could look even more impressive with ornate Gothic door handles. Bespoke made to order; we don't do quotations until we've agreed a spec with a client.

They are non standard sizes we do these, as they are made bespoke; but that does give us the flexibility to design matching furniture, including storage cupboards, bookcases, media centres, wardrobes, etc. As all of these pieces are made bespoke we can change the dimensions, within reason, to whatever you want; that is the real beauty of bespoke work. These vanities can be made smaller or wider, with fewer or more doors, Also, they are shown as freestanding models but they can be built-in as well. They are usually fitted with an internal shelf. Work tops can be wood, or stone (ie quartz, granite, marble, limestone, etc), Corian, glass, etc. Unless we supply it with a wood top we generally don't supply the worktop, for a couple of reasons. First it saves a lot of weight & cost for shipping and avoids the risk of damage. Also, you are better visiting a local supplier to choose the exact colour and finish you want, this is a very subjective thing and photos don't really do it justice.
