This console table is quite dramatic for it's simplicity and in style sits somewhere between Art Deco and ancient Egypt. It is pared down to a minimalist aesthetic, and would suit any hallway or interior, practical and elegant. This piece has a visually strong shape emphasised by the splayed Pylon style legs with decorative painting and/or heiroglyphs. The shape is wonderful, part altar part practical piece of furniture. We've shown a couple of ways it could be finished, but the range of finishes is endless really. While the whole p[iece was designed in wood, it equally all be made in stone, or maybe just the top in stone? A matching style mirror would really go well with this piece.
The console sits on 2 front legs for support, with a hidden batten fixed to the wall adding the back support, and allowing the clean look. As this is made bespoke we can change the proportions, within reason, change the designs and colours used. The worktop can be in stone, quartz, marble, wood, Corian, glass, painted, laminate, etc. Made to order, we don't disclose sizes or prices until we've agreed a spec with a customer.
