This is a very elegant simple designed Egyptian style sideboard or console table. This would make a cool feature piece in a hall or any interior. The sideboard uses sloped sides, typical of much Egyptian furniture and architecture. It is covered in Egyptian figure painting but still has a very clean modern look. The piece can be made various depths as required.
The sideboard is a relativery straight forward 2 door cabinet, fitted with 1 - 2 interior shelves. Hand made and painted pieces like this take time and skill to produce, they are not cheap to do. For the top you could use a painted top, or limestone the classic Egyptian stone) marble, granite, quartz, glass, Corian, wood, whatever you like. The painting can be left clean and contemporary, or distressed, as shown, to look more antique. As this is made bespoke we can change the proportions, within reason, change the designs and colours used. Made to order, we don't disclose sizes or prices until we've agreed a spec with a customer.

The above piece is both ridiculous and wonderful. This is how a designers has fun, playing around with shapes. We took the top sideboard design and re-arranged it to produce one of the most unusual furniture shapes seen. This would make a piece of interior architecture and art rolled into one.
