Egyptian style - Sideboard & Pylon bookcase(s)

This is an elegant designed Egyptian style 3 door sideboard with a great shape. This would make a cool feature piece in a living room, hall or any interior. The sideboard uses sloped sides, but they're inverted and nottypical of much Egyptian furniture and architecture, but nevertheless it looks authentic in shape. It is covered in Egyptian figure painting but still has a very clean modern look. As well as showing this as a stand alone sideboard, we've shown it below combined with 1 or 2 or our Pylon bookcases, to show how you can combine these pieces into substantial pieces of furniture. As well as offering masses of storage and display space, you could use this for a large media entertainment center or a drinks bar.

The sideboard is a relativery straight forward 3 door cabinet, fitted with 1 - 2 interior shelves. Hand made and painted pieces like this take time and skill to produce, they are not cheap to do. For the top you could use a painted top, or limestone (the classic Egyptian stone) marble, granite, quartz, glass, Corian, wood, whatever you like. The painting can be left clean and contemporary, or distressed, as shown, to look more antique. As this is made bespoke we can change the proportions, within reason, change the designs and colours used. Made to order, we don't disclose sizes or prices until we've agreed a spec with a customer.

The above sideboard flanked by Pylon bookcases would make an impact worthy of a movie set. Although it would take a big room to scale it to. The combined furniture offers masses of storage and display space. If you prefer less furniture we've shown below just one Pylon bookcase paired with the sideboard.

Furniture pieces can be used in many ways; the above designs show the bookcases) & sideboard used as an entertainment/media center. Whether you just want a sideboard to sit under the flat screen TV, or with a bookcase on one side, or framed with a bookcase either side. The overall effect would still be very impressive, and practical, offering lots of storage & display space.
