Egyptian style - Display Unit

We recently made a simple version of this bookshef display unit, shown below. Once made we decided to elaborate on the design and produced the following design options. The display shelf unit is half of an A frame unit, which we will add some designs for the full A-frame version soon. While it's is suited to sitting in a corner it could go anywhere in your room, even sticking out as a room divider. The idea was to make a piece suggestive of Pyramid shapes, treated with a bit of Art Deco flavour as well. This has a more contemporary Egyptian flavour, which many will prefer.

There is no set size for these pieces, as they are made bespoke to the sizes you require. We can decorate this anyway you want and in any colours you want or a wood finish if you prefer. These shelf units will require some assembly when you receive themas it's too expensive to ship them assembled, but they are very straight forward to do. Made to order, we don't disclose sizes or prices until we've agreed a spec with a customer.

Design options & variations for single version;

Design variations for double A-frame versions;

If you have a couple of these shelf units you can place them back to back to make an A-frame unit. The side panels have been left in, but we will add some designs without the central vertical panels, for a cleaner more open look, as the photo below. But these largish pieces do make for an impressive amount of display/ storage in a room.

Corner version;

You can use a pair of these bookshelves to form a corner display unit, just by turning one 90 degrees. We can also supply a tall pedestal to go in the corner, so you could stand a tall vase or ornament on it. The top version has the top of the side panels cut to a pyramid shape, the bottom one works better visually with a tall separate pedestal, with a stepped pyramid shape on top (if you didn't want to stand an ornament on this we could step it up like a proper pyramid). Either way this corner display unit makes a very elegant shape for a room.
