This standalone attractive bookcase has a visually strong shape, influenced by the splayed shape & massing of Pylon buildings and gates from Egypt. it looks like a classic piece of Egyptian furniture, if they'd had need of bookcases they probably would have looked something like this. The shelves can either be solid or glass, depending on how you would like to use the cabinet; glass shelves being more suited to display of Objets D'Art or china/glasses, solid shelves for books. This piece can be used for several purposes, from display unit, bookcase, home office use, etc. The unit can have all open shelves, or some doors as we've shown on another page - which allow for decorative designs to be applied to them.
We've shown several colour options below to give you some ideas how you can change the look. Overall the piece can be left clean and contemporary, or distressed to look more antique. We can decorate this anyway you want and in any colours you want. Hand painted pieces like this take time and skill to produce, they are not cheap to do. As this is made bespoke we can change the proportions, within reason, change the designs and colours used. Made to order, we don't disclose sizes or prices until we've agreed a spec with a customer.
