Egyptian style - bookcase / display cabinet
This is another showstopper bookcase design with visually strong shapes, influenced by the
splayed shape & massing of Pylon gate buildings from Egypt. it looks like a classic piece of
Egyptian furniture. This piece would make a great impact in any interior. We've shown several
colour versions of this bookcase display cabinet below. This piece can be used for several purposes,
from display unit, drinks cabinet, bookcase, home office use, etc. The unit can have all
open shelves, or some doors as we've shown - which allow for decorative designs to be applied
to them. The shelves can either be solid or glass, depending on how you would like to use
the cabinet; glass shelves being more suited to display of Objets D'Art or china/glasses,
solid shelves for books.
Overall the piece can be left clean and contemporary, or distressed to look more antique.
We can decorate this anyway you want and in any colours you want. This piece takes a lot of
work to produce, coupled with hand painting take time and skill to produce, they are not cheap
to make. As this is made bespoke we can change the proportions, within reason, change the designs
and colours used. The unit can be fitted with doors to a bottom cupboard or left as open shelves.
