This really is a very striking design of Egyptian style vanity unit, and it has a strong traditional look. The overall shape, with the elongated legs, is based on some original coffins; and lends itself very well to this style of vanity unit. It also looks more visually open than most vanity units due to the space under the worktop. And the piece is covered with decorative painting in typical Egyptian themes, colours & patterns. This style of vanity unit best suits the use of a sit on basin as shown above, with the bottle trap visable below the worktop. If you prefer the waste & water pipes hidden then go for the option below. Probably a brass tap would look most in style with this vanity. There is a lot of detailed hand painting goes into producing decorative pieces like this.
For the worktop you could use limestone (the classic Egyptian stone but marks easier in a bathroom) marble, granite, quartz, glass, Corian, wood, whatever you like. The painting can be left clean and contemporary, or distressed to look more antique. As this is made bespoke we can change the proportions, within reason, change the designs and colours used. We can also supply matching mirror frames or wall mirror units, bath panels, storage units, etc. to complete the themed interior. Made to order, we don't disclose sizes or prices until we've agreed a spec with a customer.

This is the same vanity unit as shown at the top, but the doors & sides panels are bigger to lose the space under the worktop. A decorative border takes up the extra surface area. This vanity allows you to have either a sit-on, an inset or an undermounted basin, with the pipework hidden inside.
