This is the instantly recognised wall patterns used in the living room at Hill House. It is widely recognised as one of his classic designs, combining the organic within a grid pattern. While the overall grid is visually busy, the subtle colours soften it enough to make it easy to live with. This pattern idea could be adapted sucessfully to room interiors.
