This is a very striking Mackintosh wall treatment, inspired by the Willow Tea Room gallery. This is a complex and visually busy panelling idea which brings a strong rhythm pattern to any interior. The black painted horizontal bands of picture rail & skirting/base boards link the whole design. This was a classic Mack design incorporating both the organic pink roses and a strong grid of squares. Below we've shown how this could be used in a bathroom, with a 2nd bathroom design below showing how a change from grey waalls to buff can soften the whole look. For many this busy wall treatment would be almost too much in say a living room, so at the bottom we've shown how this design could be made more sparse and liveable with on a daily basis.
