These robe designs are classic Mackintosh in style. Typically painted white with large Shaker door panels, which are decoratively stencilled. The panels have Mack's oft used competing use of straight lines & squares with lively stencilled roses. The panels designs originate with the living room at Hill House, where they were used as wall decoration (at a similar size to these wardrobe panels). These robes work with either odd or even number of doors, and there is a visual rhythym when you have several doors in a line.

These robes are quite reasonable cost wise to produce, as there is a real simplicity to them. The painted and stencilled panels take much more time to get accurate. The robes themselves can be supplied freestanding or built-in, primed or finished. If having built-in robes they are usually finally finished in the room, as they will get some marking during installation. The carcases can be fitted out however you like, and are generally a wood interior. We can use any handles you like. Made to order.
