How about this for a striking new Mackintosh style wardrobe. These robe designs are clearly based on Mack's last major commission at 78 Derngate, some of the most striking interior's he ever did. For the living room, and some of the stairwell woodwork, mack created screens based on the square. The living room woodwork was painted a dramatic black, with vivid stained glass panels placed in some of the squares. We took this idea and created the following wardrobes. You could have a double wardrobe upto a 6 or 7 door robe, with an even or odd number of doors.

Shown below are some 4 door versions of the robe. The more doors you have the more it allows you play with the spacing of the stained glass panels. It is not cheap to make 6 - 8 stained glass panels per robe, especially detailed ones like these. The robes themselves can be supplied freestanding or built-in, primed or finished. If having built-in robes they are usually finally finished in the room, as they will get some marking during installation. The carcases can be fitted out however you like, and are generally a wood interior. Made to order. We don't discuss sizes or pricing until we've agreed a spec with a customer.

The robe above left is 1 row of squares taller than the other robes, in case you need extra height. The colours are obviously from Derngate, and the green was used in some of the kitchen furniture (and makes an interesting change from Mack's usual finishes).
