This mirror design was inspired by a Duncan design for a rug, for the Omega.Wwe adapted the design for matching sideboards & vanity units as well, see below. Duncan was quite aware of new art being produced in Europe, this design shows some influence from some of those artists. it would be a fairly typical Abstract painting but for the hatch lines around the edges, which give it a visual energy. And he was not seeking perfection in his lines, as say Mondrian was, which also adds to the vitality of the design, plus it has good colours. We used the border of his design which lent itself well to a mirror frame, especilly when paired with the matching sideboard. This style of mirror frame allows the proportions to be changed easily to whatever you prefer, as they are made bespoke. The mirror can be hung landscape or portrait as preferred. The mirror would also look good with a beveled edge. We don't discuss size or price until we have agreed a spec. with a customer.
