These sideboard abinet designs were inspired by a Bloomsbury Group painted cupboard, and look so typical Bloomsbury style. This design was only part of the original painting, we took it out of context and blew the design up to the larger scale of a sideboard or cupboard, it works very well we think. For all it's busy patterns & colours there is a clean look to these pieces, whilst very practical & offering good storage. It does make for a striking piece of art furniture. It is fitted with internal shelves, but the fit-out can be as you prefer. We can supply matching wall mirrors - see that section. We also used this same design idea to produce new designs for bookcases, vanity units, a table, etc; see the relevant sections for more information.

Omega & Bloomsbury furniture usually has a framed front & panelled doors, as they were usually painting found pieces of existing furniture. However, we feel using these details introduces a lot more lines breaking up the clean design,so we have gone for flat doors, and treated them as a canvas for the overall design. The proportions & size of this sideboard could be adapted by removing some of the side vertical borders. We don't discuss prices until we've agreed a spec. with a client.

The above 2 designs show how we can take the same painted design and put it to others uses; in this case we've shused as a dining table top and a 3 door bookcase. More information on these is shown in the relevant sections.
