What exactly is a Morris bathroom? Morris never designed a bathroom, and only late in the day did Morris & Co. produce a few washstands. Like most of his generation a morning wash consisted of a jug of water & a basin. Bathroom fittings when they started to appear were of the 'Victorian' look variety. And yet Morris & his circle produced such a strong design style that it can be adapted to create new interiors to this day. There was a wealth of ideas & design touches that can be played with to produce a Morris style bathroom.

The best way to give you a feel for Morris bathrooms is to show you examples, of complete bathrooms, floors, wall treatments, furniture, panelling, etc. You will then see how this opens up all sorts of possibilities for re-creating this style of bathroom. As a designer I can produce endless variations along these lines.
