We've done several versions of this particular chair design. The basic chair is based on CFA Voysey's classic 'Heart' chairs, which use mainly straight timber. Some influences from Liberty chairs were introduced, such as the curved front & top rails, the back panel. The dark oak version was supplied for an Edwin Lutyens House 'Little Thakeham'. It was stained to match in with the collection of original Arts & Crafts furniture in the house. Made from Oak. Shown with hand rushed seats, but they could be upholstered with your own fabric, leather, etc.. Made to order.
