This dining table closely follows examples by Morris, Stickley and other A's & C's designers. This example has a green painted base & oak top, the idea coming from Morris' own table at the Cheltenham Museum. The Oak top is 47" in diameter. The chairs are a typical Arts & Crafts style with the high slatted back derived from Voysey & Mackintosh. The turned front legs add a bit more elegance to the overall look, looking back to some of Heals chairs. The green painted finish, while matching the table, gives them a very different flavour. Upholstered in your own fabric. Made to order.
