A recent commission for a customer who wanted a sewing box to store all her knitting materials, wools, etc. This is a very practical Arts & Crafts style piece, made in oak. The nice grain runs all the way around the box continuously. The top has a moulded edge and carved oak acorns & leaves design. It has inset handles front & back for carrying. The top lifts off completely, revealing a lift out tray, for smaller items. The tray itself is nicely shaped. Made to order.
