Generally Wrights' wardrobes were very utilitarian, just plain wood board doors, not panelled, in straight runs and built-in. So these designs take that idea but embellish them with a bit more design impact. The doors are still plain boards, but taking some of his Usonian style perforated designs for clerestory windows and incorporating them into the run of wardrobes, to add some visual impact. Wright obviously didn't do this himself, but it seems like a natural progression of some of his ideas to try this. The cut-out designs are backed by a white acrylic for maximum effect, but we could other colours for the backing. You wouldn't use the cut-out designs on every door, it would be visually too busy, but using them as a highlight feature works, or alternating doors build up a rhythm. Like most Wright robes the doors are really very plain boards, available in a range of woods; he typically used Oak, Cypress & Mahogany for most of his robes, but we could use any you prefer. They are shown with a simple matching wooden hande per door, but we can use any handle you want.

Design ideas;

The bottom 2 designs above show a different cut-out design, and show Oak or dark Mahogany finishes. The wardrobes can be built-in, which is the usual option these days and in keeping with Wright's preference, or freestanding. They can form a straight run, of any number of doors, or an L shape. You could have a 3 door either side of a door to an en-suite bathroom, for example. The interiors can be fitted anyway you want, with shelves, hanging rails, show racks, lighting, etc. You could even have internal lighting to provide bedroom mood lighting and emphasise the designs at night. Made to order. We don't discuss sizes or prices until we've agreed a specification with a customer.
