This is a really striking Jugendstil wardrobe design; Jugendstil was the European Art Nouveau version of the Liberty style. while the shape is straight forward, being in a plain Shaker style, the overall effect is beautifully graphic. The overall colouring really makes the robe designs, in typical turn of the century colourways. But also the flowers designs and whiplash details add further to the look. Also shown are different sizes and design variations below, showing many ways to design these robes. You could have this as a freestanding or built-in robe (which is much more populare tyhese days), with 2, 3, 4, 5 or more doors.

The interior can be fitted out as you like, as made to order. We only give sizes when we've agreed a spec with a customer. The wardrobes can be built-in to one corner or into an alcove, they cab be fitted to the ceiling or have top boxes fitted for further storage. Or you could have a matching dressing table in the run. The doors can be plain Shaker panelled or have more oranate bead mouldings. You can choose your own handles. The wardrobes look better for having either a cornice or shaped pediment on top.

You can take these designs ideas as far as you want, or your budget will allow. Above is shown a 4 door wardrobe with applied copper strap hinges, to really add the wow factor. The ends of the strap hinges have a flower head design that is close in style to the painted flower decoration. Applied straps like these can really add a lot of style but are not too expensive to do.
