Art Deco; Joinery & interior woodwork - Type 2

It's the attention to detail that really makes a quality job complete. We can supply Art Deco joinery that will give your room or house the total authentic look. The interior woodwork really frames the room, & almost subliminally it says Art deco. Above we show the type 2 version of joinery we do, although we could do more bespoke work for a larger run. The mouldings are a much more detailed design, with their Skyscraper Deco detailing with more steps, and is consequently more expensive to produce.

This range of interior joinery wood mouldings allow you to take the Art Deco look to every aspect of the room or house. The stepped profiles are classic Art Deco in look & feel. We do not supply small quantities of these mouldings, as it is too expensive to set up the machines for small runs. Plus they can come in lengths between 2.5M - 3.6M, making them expensive to deliver for a small run. We use wood that leaves a nice crisp stepped detail. The mouldings can be supplied primed as well, to save time on site. Besspoke, made to order.

The architrave and skirting board above is a much busier design, with more steps, and is consequently more expensive to produce. There are skirting boards, architraves, picture rails, cornice, panel mouldings, etc. These moulding come in natural pine, other woods can be used, or you can stain or paint them paint.

The above photos show some new skirting board & architrave in the factory. The photos show the profiles and scale quite well. The photo top left shows how the architrave butts up to the skirting board. They were spray primed in the factory to speed up installation on site and give a better finish. They look stunning, even in the dark grey primed finish - they will be painted black in the room. We'll try and get some photos of these mouldings installed - but we are reliant on clients for this, and they are often in a rush at the end of a project and we are forgotten!
