This clean looking wardrobe relies on it's Skyscraper handle styling for interest and decoration - they definately add some Wow factor to the robes. The stepped Skyscraper motif is the quintessential Deco shape, by blowing the size up you give the doors a sense of scale suited to Skyscraper styling. We actually exagerated the door handles size to create a stepped skyscrapper profile. The wardrobe can be quite reasonable to produce, but the handles can add quite a bit to the cost, depending on their material and finish.
The robes look better with an even number of doors for this handle but there can be an uneven no as well. The Skyscraper style handles can be made from a range of woods or lacquered finishes, or metals (from stainless steel, to brass, aluminium, etc.) We generally only make these handles for customers ordering furniture. As made to order we don't give out sizes until we've agreed a spec with a customer.
