Art Deco - side tables
These side table designs are a direct legacy of Paul Frankl's Skyscraper design style. For a quite straight forward piece
to make they offer quite a complex visual look, with their stepped inner and outer stepped shapes. The front leg has
the same stepped shape, giving the subtle illusion of a Skyscraper skyline. Add in a matching style mirror frame above and
you will make a dramatic statement in any room. Of course the colouring can make a big difference to the look, from the
pastel Deco colours of Miama (top right) to the strong urban colours (top left).
We do the single front leg side table version, as shown above, or a wider 2 front leg version, as shown below. They have
been shown in lots of colour variations & finishes below, from wood versions to all painted versions. We could make bespoke
top in a range of finishes, from a painted or wood top, to metal or a back painted glass or Perspex. The table tops can be
square, half round or triangular shape. They really offer a wonderful Deco statement & splash of colour. Made to order.
We don't give sizes or prices until we have agreed a spec. with a customer. The tables are economical to ship as they can
be sent out flat pack, and require minimal home assembly.

As you can see the large matching mirror frames add a dramatic look when placed above the side tables, especially when
the colour compliments the side table colour. Imagine the impact of these 2 pieces in your hallway or living room, or
even bedroom. We design and make these as well to order. The mirror frames can be flat faced, like the tables, as
shown above right or we can add a raised section to emphasise the stepped look, and allow the frame to be painted
in 2 colours, as shown above left.
