This is called having fun with Deco design and where the Art in Deco came from. A new range of dining tables based on many original table formats having 2 base supports but treated in a new more graphic way. These are original designs but definately capture the flavour of Deco. The support blocks are really a practical canvas for the decoratively painted faces. The painted designs were inspired by a French artist's Cubist painting of a sea scene from the south of france, with rolling hills & hill top village, palm trees & sailing boats. We can also supply a matching style sideboard, as the example below. While the furniture shapes are quite straight forward to make it is the artistic work that makes them, requiring much skill, which is relected in the price.

The glass top allows you see the decorative design better, as they are the focal point of the piece. The base supports are physically substantial to support the heavy glass top, but their size can be altered if need be. The table itself is quite large, to allow 2 chairs to fit between the base sections, and an overhang for chairs at the ends. But as the supports are not fixed to the top they can be moved in & out as required. They really offer a wonderful Deco statement & splash of colour in any interior. We have shown them with a glass top, which could be clear, etched or back painted glass, or a solid top (ie stone, marble, etc). Due to the weight, size, and care needed to move glass, we see customers sourcing the glass top closer to where they live; we will provide the details for ordering it. This makes shipping the 2 bases relatively straight forward and cost effective. Made bespoke to order, we don't discuss prices until we've agreed a specification with a client.
