These cabinets, cupboards & sideboards are a mix of original Frankl pieces & new adaptions. The red & black originals above were very close in design to each other, but in typical Frankl style there were always variations. The stepped tops are identical on both cabinets. The plinths have subtle differences. For the black version, rather than have 3 doors wide as the red version, he left the middle space open to give a sense of depth. This was something he did on many of his best Skyscraper style pieces. They really offer a wonderful Deco statement & splash of colour. Made to order, so they could be finished in other finishes as well. They are generally just fitted with shelves. We don't do quotes for these until we've agreed the design, size and finish with a customer.

Design variations;

Top LH & middle; a 2 door version of the same cabinet. The proportions were changed to create a taller cabinet, maybe suited for a TV entertainment unit? Top RH is a wider sideboard version of the same design. Bottom LH a 2 door narrower sideboard black version, painted with an Abstract Cubist design to compliment the look & style of the piece (we shown a few more ideas along similar lines in the Deco furniture section). The middle & bottom RH pictures shown sideboard versions of the cabinet. Internally fitted with 1 -2 shelves. They are made bespoke, so you can change the proportions & colours to suit, or have a wood finish.

Plinth options;

The 2 pictures above above show a deeper version of the cabinet, to give more storage space. The RH picture has the plinth cut away in front to add to the stepped look (we like to play with these designs as you can see & are not slaves to the past).

Colour variations;

The above photos show some colour variations on the original Frankl cabinets. While the colours are not authentic Frankl colours, why do they need to be? We are not slaves to the past. Therefore, if you want this style in a new colour go for it.
