This is a new selection of Art Deco cupboards, cabinets & sideboards, inspired by a Gilbert Rhode design from c. 1935. If this was in wood it would look quite ordinary, but the contrasting colours give them a strong visual look. It is amazing how contemporary & modern this furniture looks. The asymetric shape further enhances the graphic, almost De Stijl, look. All the straight lines / boxy shapes are softened by the wonderful round handles, made bespoke for this piece; they are what really lift this piece. But you can specify any handles you like. Generally fitted with interior shelves.
The colours are bespoke finished to whatever you want, from muted Deco colours to clean modern finishes. The frame carcase & doors can be finished differently. The robes can either be hand painted or lacquered, with matt, satin or gloss finishes as you prefer. We could make this exactly to your requirements, as made to order. We can also adapt the design anyway you want, and you can also choose any colour you want.

The wider sideboard can be treated in 3 ways, asymetrical or symetrical. The original asymetric look can be retained in the double width piece, or the doors can be entirely 'framed' for a symetrical look. Also, you can add a small upstand at the back of the top (visually the same height as the front front frame). Or double asymetric look, as the bottom photo.

Above are shown a couple of design variations for this cupboard. Top left shows a version with a drawer above the doors. Visually the door C handles are the striking element of the overall design, so the drawer knobs echo the round C handles without competing with them. The top right hand design shows the cupboard in a single colour finish (which is less expensive to produce. You can see these 'C' handle, shown below, in the handles section.
