Carrying on with Donald Deskey's design ideas we have produced some really striking new lamp base designs. These designs were based on Deskey designs, especially some of waste baskets, which Deskey did early in his career, he very creative during this period. They have a typical Cubist vee shape which creates a great outline. The decoration was very striking, with multi-coloured skyscraper shapes at the bottom and searchlights above, continuing the angled lines of the piece. We can change the colours if you want, to tie in with accent colours in your room. These lamps are usually supplied with 2.5M length of cable (but no plug, as these vary country to country). We can add an extension piece to the lampholder, to raise the shade higher above the lamp. We do not supply the lampshades, they are easily available locally, or you can also commission bespoke lampshades from others. They are made to order, and we don't give out dimensions until we have agreed a spec with a customer. Given the unusual shapes and amount of work to finish them they are not cheap - they are for clients where budget is not the main consideration, but getting the look right is.
