Bar;

This is where the Art in Art Deco came from! Lets start with the shape; architecturally shaped with a stepped top, the square boxy shape & inset plinth are typical Deco details. This piece is really just a large canvas for the hand painted seascape, and it is a practical piece of furniture as well. A joy to look at & use everyday, this is a really stylish & fun piece of Deco furniture. The painting was inspired by an original French painting from the 1930's, capturing the feel of a sunny day on the French Riviera or Miami Beach, with Cubist detailing in the paintwork. This can be supplied as a 2 or 3 door version. The sides could be painted to match the doors if required, but we feel it adds more contrast with the painted design on the front only.

So what's the difference between a bar & a sideboard? The bar has a single painted front panel, with an open reverse side, with shelves, etc for storage or bottles & glasses. The sideboard usually sits against a wall, and has doors on the front. The sideboard can be supplied as a standard 2 or 3 door with a flat top, or a 4 door (2 small & 2 larger doors) with a stepped top for a great Deco look. The main carcase can be either white, a bespoke colour or a light wood, which best suits the front design. The interior is fitted with a shelf. Fitted with discreet door knobs. As made to order we don't give sizes until we've agreed a spec with a customer.

Any of the above designs can be adapted to work as a cupboard, bar, sideboard, drinks cabinet, vanity units, bookcases, media unit, etc etc. We can also change the sizes and finishes to whatever you want.
