Typically ornate shelves, of a type that would have been common in
many Scandinavian farm houses in C18th. They are very ornate & elegant, with
carved Acanthus swags & carved supports. They would also look good in any
of the light Gustavian palette colours.
The upper shelf is painted Swedish blue/grey with silver detailing on
the Swag moulding. Note the shelf supports are set in from the ends,
for an interesting look. The RH photo shows this with a wall clcok above it.
The lower one is painted in typical strong Norwegian colours. Lengths are
by increments of approx. 1ft, ie 1', 2', 3', 4'. 17cm - 20cm deep.
They can also be supplied as a single swag shelf or as corner shelves.
Made to order. They can be painted any colour(s) you like.
