The colour combination of white lacquer & gold detailing makes for very elegants designs. The designs show many combinations of size and the detailing used from the building. Mouldings have been taken from the building for authenticity. The actual cabinets themselves are quite straight forward to make, it is the detailing that really makes them, as it did on the original building. Pieces like this will appeal to all serious Sucession fans. We don't give out sizes until a spec has been agreed with a customer.
These 2 large sideboard designs start to take on the proportions of the Secession building. They include most of the design elements in the original, from the gold laurel leaves, to the 'pylons' on the roof to the plinth mouldings. The left hand version has a large mirror shaped top which echoes the golden dome on the building. The mirror is frameless for a cleaner contemporary look, but it could equally have a white frame. The right hand version shows a more architectural shaped mirror frame which has matching gold laurel leaves design. The cabinet interiors can be fitted out as you want. The gold laurel leaves panel on the base could be 1 large single drawers or 2 smaller drawers. They are shown with a pale grey Carrara marble top, but this could be whatever you prefer. We don't give out dimensions until we've agreed a specification with a customer. Made to order.
