Many of our new Egyptian design lend themselves really well to adventurous shapes, as the style is based on original archcitectural models. Add in decorative Egyptian painted elements and colours and you get some very striking pieces like this. The sloped side supports, capped with small pyramid shapes, support the cantilivered middle desk section, with shelf and cupboard variations above and below. This piece can be used for several purposes, from desk bookshelf unit, home office use, display unit, drinks cabinet, console table, etc. The unit can have all open shelves, or some doors as we've shown - which allow for decorative designs to be applied to them.
The back panel painting is a typical Egyptian scene. The single large drawer can be 2 smaller drawers. We've shown several colour & finish options to give you an idea of what you can do with such a piece. Overall the piece can be left clean and contemporary, or distressed to look more antique. We can decorate this anyway you want and in any colours you want. Hand painted pieces like this take time and skill to produce, they are not cheap to do. As this is made bespoke we can change the proportions, within reason, change the designs and colours used. Made to order, we don't disclose sizes or prices until we've agreed a spec with a customer.
