We used a Mackintosh stained glass design, from a white painted washstand at Hill House, shown below, and transferred it to a marquetry veneered panel, which we can use in a variety of ways for furniture panels. The design features the rose and squares, which he could vary endlessly. It is interesting to see the design swapped to flat wood veneers, similar in treatment to his stencilled designs. Within reason we could produce these panels in any size and wood combination, a painted/stencilled finish or we could produce it in stained glass as the original if you prefer. Made to order.
