This new design takes a bit of a liberty with Mack designs, as he didn't design any doors with oval panels. However, it is within his ouever, as he used ovals shapes on several pieces of furniture, such as chair backs, table top, sconces, etc. The oval forms a good shape for a stencilled Mackintosh flower design as shown. We then experimented with the size of the oval panel and made a large one, exagerating it and the large stencilled flower design. We can design and supply new house doors whether to copy an existing Mackintosh door or produce a new design in that style. There are a range of decorative treatments you can give these doors, we've shown a few ideas. Doors come in all shapes & sizes, we make bespoke doors to whatever size and finish you require. Usually we would supply the painted doors just with a primed finish, for final painting once installed. The reason being finished doors always risk getting getting marked when being drilled/chiselled/routed on-site while fitting them. Made to order, we don't quote for these until we know exactly what is required.
