Bloomsbury style - bookcases

New Bloomsbury Group style painted 'Morpheus' bookcase

The inspiration for this range of bookcases or display units was the painted bed by Duncan Grant. The rich abstract design and colours depict 'Morpheus', the god of sleep. The painted panel makes a wonderful focal point for the bookcase, a piece for an artistic interior for sure. As the bookcase is made to order we can change the size and proportion to whatever you want, within reason, and change the finishes as well. The interior of the bookcase is a light wood tone, to emphasis the rich painted colours. The sides and plinth were painted to match the rich panel dominant colour red. We have shown several variations of the design below to give you some ideas of how we can vary the design. As made to order we don't discuss sizes or price until we have agreed the specification with the client.
