Sleigh bed style. Most children & young people's beds are dull style-less pieces, usually mass produced in the Far East. These bespoke beds attempt to redress that by providing a modern take on the traditional sleigh bed style, that can be painted by you in a wide range of colours to suit your interior. sofa bed style has a high back and wider opening front, and looks great with lots of cushions. It is almost Scandinavian in it's style, and we have shown it in several paler Scandinavian colours. Perfect where space and style are at a premium, the bed doubling as a sofa for teenagers, so you will get a much longer usuage from them before their tastes change. The beds are made bespoke and to be honest are quite expensive when compared to off the shelf beds. As a result we rarely make these, plus children grow up and want their own taste in little enough time. So they're not something we push. Generally we would supply them unpainted for you to paint at home, as painting adds considerably to the cost and saves marking painted surfaces in transit. They are made to take a standard mattress size. We don't discuss sizes or prices until we have agreed a spec with a customer.

Many bunk beds for young people can be dull with little design style. These beds attempt to address that providing a sturdy yet stylish bunk bed, that you can paint in a wide range of colours to suit the interior. The bed can be supplied either unpainted as I said ( this is obviously less prone to marking in transit than painted finish ) or painted / lacquered in a single colour, but this will be considerably dearer. They are supplied with a slatted base and take a standard single mattress. Ht 69" / 1750mm.
