This oak wardrobe design while looking typically Wright in style tries to do something new as well. The square solid looking shape is typical but we did something more decorative with the top door panels. Wright was ever an artist, so we tried to incorporate something more artistic into the designs. The robe above left panels were inspired by his unmistakable Tree of Life decorative stained glass window designs. The robe above right uses the same idea but the design is cut from wood, with a darker backing to highlight the design. This looks really stunning in reality. We can do more designs along these lines, but this will give you some ideas of what we can do.
The robes are usually supplied with matching Mission style handles. The wardrobes are shown as a freestanding 2 door robe, but could be a 3 or 4 door robe, or built-in. The interiors can be fitted anyway you want. Made to order. The wardrobe below uses stained glass panels inspired by his Coonley House designs, which are quite colourful & striking.
Above are shown a couple of Lloyd Wright designs we did for a wardrobe. These are more pared down than the robes above, and have a more authentic Wright look. The square look, flat panels, horizontal bands, oak finish are all typical Wright elements. The robe could be made as a 2, 3 or 4 door model, freestanding or built-in. The interior could be fitted out as you like as made to order.
