Whilst unmistakeably Art Deco in style these new designs are definately a new take on the style. The basic vanity cabinet shape is a very straight forward looking piece, with a typical boxy shape. However the panels are based on a Walter Dorwin Teague Deco era Geometric Cubist patterns with a striking colour pattern. These are original designs but definately capture the look of Deco. The minimal shapes, stepped in plinths, the panels are all strong Deco design elements. The clever thing that allows the whole design to run across both doors is the 3 sided door frames, very unusual. Or we could have the design run across the full size doors, without any frames. Either are possible as made to order.
The vanity unit can have a hand painted or lacquered finish, or you can have wood finishes as well. We've shown several colour combinations below to give you an idea of how we can play with the designs and colours. The cabinets can be fitted out as you prefer, but are generally are supplied with 1 shelf. The vanity units are shown with sit-on basins but the vanity could be made higher to allow for an undermounted basin. You can use a standard rectangular sit-on basin, or a more unusual shaped basin, to echo the Cubist door shapes. The worktops can easily be fitted with stone, granite, glass, wood, etc. worktops if preferred. Clients usually supply their own basin. As these cabinets are made to order we can change the sizes & proportions to your requirements. We don't give prices until we have agreed a spec. with a customer.
